PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES TAKEN IN G.D. GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL, Dwarka

We are following the guidelines given by the government:

1. All the classes are cleaned daily with disinfectants that are effective against H1N1 influenza.

2. Special attention is being given to cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.

3. The whole school is being fumigated and closed for few hours regularly.

4. Buses are cleaned and disinfected regularly.

5. Hand hygiene is most important measure to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious organisms. Hand sanitizers are being used in all classes and washrooms. Frequent hand washing is advised to all.

6. Instructions are given to parents not to send their wards if he/she is suffering from fever, cough, cold or is not well. To attend the school only if the symptoms resolve.

7. We are strictly sending back the children with mild symptoms of flu, cold, cough and fever.

Note: Parental support in terms of information sharing is very crucial in the fight against H1N1 virus.

Inter House Quiz: 1st Positon Tagore House’.

Vaibhav Sharma,Ashutosh Mishra, Sushant Joon, Mahima Kochar, Simran Mahajan and Rupal Chhaya won the IIIrd position in ‘Creative Folk Dance’ Inter School Competition.

Mradul Bhatnagar, Anoushka Mann & Praujuktie Mitra won III rd position in ‘Enact a Proverb’.

GDGPS bagged the Ist position in ‘Fashionata’ Jewellery Designing Competition and Shawyoung and Kuhuk Bisht won the Ist position in Inter School ‘Word Power’ competition.

Tapasvi Singh Panwar & Keshav Nagpal won the IIIrd position in ‘Movie Making’ Competition.
